We have found that mothballs in an old margerine container with holes in top helps keep all kinds on insects/rodents etc away. punch a few holes in top or sides(if moisture can get in) and place containers around areas where problem is.
CAUTION: ENSURE NO SMALL CHILDREN/PETS can get to it.
about one small hand full of moth balls(NOT CRYSTALS) should protect you for about 4-6 months depending on how fast they disappear. It’s the smell they don’t like.
