All you ned is to dig out an area an dplace charcoal or let wood burn down to coals and place your grate from your grill over top of it. Or buy a relacement grate just for this type of cooking. Or place your cinder blocks out and place the grill atop that w/ the coals under it.. GL

just dig a big hole in the ground, put stones, brick, cinder blocks or whatever around it and put a over rack over top and there you go, cheap ,easy
