I would do a joint venture with the cosmetic store and jewelery store next to your store by printing up some discount cards, which are just business cards, but have printed on them a special discount for your store and place a spot that says refered by: and write in the name of the jewelry store and the cosmetic store, so you know where your getting the leads from. How this works is that you offer the jewelry store and cosmetic store owner a certain percentage of profits from each sale made from a discount card redeemed from their store that they gave to their customers or you could just offer to place a discount card in your store for their store and offer to pay to print the discount cards for them and this way it’s a win, win, win for each business, as everyone get a little more business and free advertising. I agree with the answer above, however, if the other stores aren’t making it a priority to point out your business cards then nobody will notice them.
I am not in advertising or anything, and I don’t know what kind of traffic you have in the plaza, but if your store is in an outdoor plaza could you do some kind of spring sale and move some tables and racks of clothing outside as a way of getting people’s attention and also as a preview of what you have in your actual store?

It’s important that you trust yourself and go for what you feel will attract you to buy. What is the climate like? Have you try to bring the sale items where they could be seen as customers pass your store? Do you play music so that you can get customers to walk into your store? Why not try something completely different, high end clothing sometimes calls for special events once a month to get your customers excited about your unique style.
