i have a 4 year old male cat, who i got when he was 8 weeks old. he is an indoor/outdoor cat and doesn't like being kept inside. if we don't let him out he will *** or **** on things like the stove, the bathroom sink, the computers key board, etc. he is litter box trained and will use it if hes allowed to go outside, however refuses when he is unhappy. for the four years ive had him, letting him outside has never been an issue. he has always come back to eat and sleep, however lately he has been going to the neighbors house a couple blocks away. they dont feed him, and dont try to let him in their house, but he slips in when the door gets opened. ive tried keeping him inside regardless of his inappropriate behavior but he bolts out the door any time it is opened. what can i do to keep him from adopting my neighbor as his new owner?
