when we go camping chicken veggie packs are always a big hit if you pre-cut (or buy pre-cut) veggies and put them in zip-lock bags they stay fresh for a few days for the chicken if cooler space is an issue we buy the pre-cooked pre-cut strips in the meat department ( can’t remember who makes it) or canned chicken opened and put in zip-lock bags. Each person can pick what they want in theirs wrap in aluminum foil with butter, salt, and pepper (double wrap if using butter) and cook over fire very little clean up you can eat out of the foil takes about 20-25 minutes to cook over a good hot bed of embers.
no cook lunches:
wraps, tuna in a bag, mayo packets(like you get at convenience stores that don’t need to be refrigerated) they can easily be put together on the trail.
Hope this helped

It really depends on how long you’re going to be camping. How many meals do you need to plan for? Are you going to pack in? What’s the weather going to be like? If it’s going to be cold at night, you can keep stuff like bacon three or four days by putting it in a resealable bag and hanging outside at night and rolled up in your sleeping bag during the day.
If you’re going to fish… and if you know how to clean and fry them, I find that some flour or cornmeal is awesome to fry them in.
Hot chocolate is pretty good on a cold morning.
Salt, pepper, Accent (R). are all dry and help to season to taste.
But, knowing nothing about your camping expertise — other than from your question, I’d recommend an aluminum cook kit and dehydrated meals. You can purchase them at any sporting goods store and even in some markets. They’re not cheap, but all you have to be able to do is boil water, and, in most cases, the meals are palatable.
