Generators & Heaters

Going on a camp can be both exhausting and relaxing at the same time. Exhausting because campers need to prepare, go on a hike, and sacrifice comfort. And relaxing, because campers for once can get away from the mad and busy city life at least for awhile to commune with and enjoy nature.

The body and mind are definitely refreshed during camps especially when the comforts of home can still be brought to the campsites. Of course, this kind of may be nothing compare to the comfort of one's own bed or silent sanctuary through the years, companies like Coleman have managed to improve the quality of camping as an outdoor activity.

As one important gear to bring along during camp, a camping heater must be reliable, therefore, should be of the highest quality. One of the most common complains of campers is having to spend a cold night and trying so hard to fall asleep inside a cold tent. That is why, camping heaters are necessary to provide warmth and comfort to the campers especially during the colder hours while outdoors.

Choosing for a dependable camping heater can be a challenge. Here are some tips for buying camping heaters:

- Decide on what power you want to use. Do you want to use gas or propane? Or do you want to bring electric heaters? Probably the most convenient to bring and use is an electric heater from Coleman because you'd just be needing batteries or electricity. But your decision will still depend on your geographical location and how much you are willing to bring for the heater to work.

- To ensure safety, always buy a brand new heater. Used heaters are not reliable and might cause you danger.

- Check if you can use the camping heater while inside the tent. Coleman heaters are best to use a cabin tent because they are of the highest quality and won't bring your tent on fire. Some heaters are not designed for indoor use so make sure you take the labels on the camping heaters.

- Is the camping heater portable? Make sure that the heater you will be buying is portable enough to bring with you during camps. There are a lot of small heaters from Coleman that you can choose from that still bring the same comfort as the bigger models of heaters from other brands.

I'm going camping this month in a tent and does anyone know if there's any way to use your car as a source of energy for a cooker or a fan heater? thanks
